Tasmanian AFP re_BOOTCMP Program
The re_B00TCMP program is a free one-day event being piloted across Australia by the AFP-led Joint Policing Cybercrime Coordination Centre (JPC3). In an age where digital technology plays a central role in our lives, re_B00TCMP emerges as an innovative and proactive initiative. Its aim is to nurture and guide the talents of young, tech-savvy individuals towards positive and constructive use of their digital skills.
Following the successful delivery of Australia’s first re_B00TCMP pilot program in Sydney last year, the JPC3, in close partnership with Tasmania Police and the Tasmanian Department of Premier and Cabinet, hosted Tasmania’s pilot program in Hobart on 23 June 2025.
The Tasmanian Pilot attracted 30 young people from 11 schools and college across the state, making it a successful event.
